Iron mining industry
“A silver-white ductile metallic element,…much used for tools and implements.” Canadian Oxford Dictionary.
There are several types of iron ore, the principal ones of which are magnetite, hematite and siderite. A large proportion of iron ore is used to make steel, mostly for construction structures, automobile fabrication and even manufacturing cooking tools like pots and pans! A number of steps are required to process iron ore, such as screening, crushing and storage, recovery, grinding and separation using processing equipment like cyclones, samplers and spirals.
